What happened?
On December 17th, 2021, at 8:37 UTC, we identified an issue that caused errors during the playback of specific Recordings for a limited number of users, preventing them from watching the Recordings.

Why did this issue occur?
During a code deployment, a bug was accidentally introduced that caused the errors to show up when certain Recordings were played.

What will we do to prevent this from happening in the future?
We will hold an internal postmortem to establish any relevant follow-up actions.
