What happened?
On January 13th, at 13:06 UTC, we identified a visual bug that prevented deleted Recordings from being removed from the displayed list in the Hotjar Dashboard. The deleted Recording was no longer accessible, but would not disappear from the list until the page was refreshed.

Why did this issue occur?
During a code deployment, a bug was accidentally introduced that caused the Recordings list to not automatically update when a Recording was deleted.

What will we do to prevent this from happening in the future?
We will hold an internal postmortem to establish any relevant follow-up actions

Investigating

We’re currently investigating an issue with the Recordings list. A deleted Recording is not removed from the list until the page is refreshed, even though it is not available for playback after deletion.
