Delays in session processing

This incident has now been resolved. Thanks for bearing with us!

To recap, from 5:20 to 7:37 pm UTC, session processing was delayed. While trying to address this delay, we couldn't process the accumulated sessions, which meant that over 90% of the sessions captured during that time were lost.

Our sampling engine will adjust to capture at a higher rate for the day to fill in for your plan's daily allowance.

We've implemented a fix for this issue and are monitoring the situation to ensure everything is back to normal.

We're investigating an issue with delayed session processing, affecting the time it takes for session data to appear on your dashboard.

Our engineers are working to fix the issue ASAP and will post updates to status.hotjar.com.
