Hotjar will be temporarily unavailable for up to 1 hour On Wednesday 28th December at 23:00 CEST / 14:00 PDT while we upgrade our database infrastructure. All functionality will be restored by Wednesday 28th December at midnight CEST / 15:00 PDT latest.
We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this will cause and thank you for your patience while we carry out the necessary changes to improve our database performance and reliability.
Why is this maintenance needed?
A major version upgrade to our database (PostgreSQL) is available. This will result in improved performance while at the same time giving our developers access to new features.
What impact does this maintenance have on your data?
During the downtime, Hotjar will stop collecting data as the database will be temporarily unavailable while we perform the upgrade.
What impact does this maintenance have on your site?
